Debugger's Space (debuggersspace.com) helps you make a Digital Resume and Digital Visiting Card, share them as a link, and apply for software jobs. This page explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have.
What we collect
- Account details: your name, email address and a scrambled (hashed) password. We never store your password itself.
- Google or LinkedIn sign-in: if you choose it, we receive only your name, email address, profile photo link and an account id. We do not receive your password or your contacts, and we cannot post anything for you.
- What you add: resume content, photo, visiting card details, job applications and answers, and any help request you send.
- Usage: how many times your resume or card is viewed, and by which company when an employer opens it.
- Cookies: one sign-in cookie that keeps you logged in. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
How we use it
- To run your account, show your resume and card at your link, and send your applications to employers.
- To send emails you need, such as sign-up codes and password reset codes.
- To let employers find candidates. You control this with the privacy settings on your dashboard, such as hiding your contact details.
We do not sell your data and do not show ads.
Who processes it for us
- Vercel (website hosting) and Neon (database), both in Singapore.
- Resend, which delivers our emails.
- Anthropic (Claude), only when you use "Upload resume": the file is sent to read it and fill in your form.
- Google and LinkedIn, only if you sign in with them.
Who can see your resume
Anyone with your resume or card link can open it. Employers on Debugger's Space can see it when you apply or when you allow it in your settings. You can hide your phone and email, or delete a resume, at any time from your dashboard.
Your choices
- Edit or delete your resumes, card and photo from your dashboard.
- To delete your whole account and its data, email debuggersspace@gmail.com from the email on your account. We delete it within 30 days.
- If you signed in with Google or LinkedIn, you can also remove our access in your Google or LinkedIn account settings.
Keeping it safe
Pages are served over HTTPS, passwords are hashed, and only our small team can reach the database.
